WOW WHAT IS THIS?? I’ve never tasted anything like it.
When your friends come to visit, they will leave inspired to try something new. And it’s all due to your VEGETABLE GARDEN, and the LOVE created for it and by it..
A Productive Landscape
Vegetables, herbs, and fruits can be amazingly decorative! Rather than have a section of the backyard sectioned off for your vegetable patch, create an edible landscape where any part of your backyard can produce food. Your friends will admire the beautiful garden you have created and be extra impressed if the plants are edible. FORMAL GARDEN LAYOUT’S are perfect for some, but for me, I like to envelope my friends and family, within the SACRED GARDEN and have them leaving INSPIRED and EXCITED to try do it for themselves.
Tip: Many vegetable plants are seasonal and complete their entire lifecycle within a season or two. You don’t want big areas of missing plants or a garden full of lifeless plants clearly coming to the end of their lifecycle or season.
Plant fruit trees and PERENNIAL PLANTS/CROPS to ensure your garden always looks healthy, throughout the year.
Include home grown ingredients in meals
When your guests are commending you on the flavours of your meal, point out the ingredients that were home grown and picked fresh. You will inspire them to use fresh ingredients in their own home cooked meals. After all HEALTH IS THE REAL WEALTH. When your people sight what you have grown, how it has been grown, how it tastes compared to commercial growing or shop brought, the colours, the smells, the textures and the simplicity of GROWING YOUR OWN, this is when the penny should start to drop, if not already.
A sure fire way to impress
Pick a big bunch of herbs and a shopping bag of vegetables and give it to your friends. They will love the gesture and will most likely now go out of their way to use these HOME GROWN, LOVE FILLED, VIBRATIONAL ingredients (maybe they will try a new recipe? Perhaps also give them some ideas as some of the VEG grown may not always be easily identified or known). Even better, have a or part of a vegetable garden out the front so you can pick vegetables for your friends on their way in or out. They will love the fact that the vegetables are as fresh as you can get. Whilst they are there, show then how to HARVEST, COOK, STORE AND DRY said FRUIT and VEG. Adding to their curiosity and inspiration.
Always give the GIFT OF LIFE When your friends and family come for a visit and are curious as to when and what to plant, but also show signs of not being sure what, where, when and how to plant, give then some self-sown seedlings. This will not only give them the right seedlings, but also contribute in the UNITY of the commUNITY. As they say, SHARING IS CARING.
